Morukana Publishing empowers exceptional authors to share their stories with the world, offering publications in both paperback and eBook formats. We also supply South African public and private schools with affordable, CAPS-aligned LTSM, primarily textbooks. Under the leadership of our Managing Director, M.S. Machitela—a seasoned, award-winning author with over 25 years of industry experience—we deliver excellence and passion in every project.

Managing Director
Mokhale Samuel Machitela began his writing career in the mid-nineties with his first published work, Ge Di Boa Shakeng (2003), a collection of Sepedi Home Language poems prescribed for Grade 11. His subsequent works include Sello Sa Leseana (2006), Meropa Le Ditshela (2006), Ga Di Mphelele (2009), Mahlalerwa (2011), Menotobidi (2012), Phamphamadiba (2012), and Tiego (2013), among others. He has published numerous Sepedi HL novels, poems, and dramas, with titles such as Ba Ntlhoile (2013), Kgalagalo Tša Setu (2013), Ga Ke Nyake Phoso (2014), and Mahlogedi A Theto (2015), all prescribed for various school grades. His recent works include Naka La Tholo (2019), Matsikinyane (2019), and Melotšana Ya Botswiri Nonyana, as well as bilingual children’s books like Dineo’s World, available in multiple African languages.
